Yay, I suck
You know, its a lot easier to write when you are winning.
I do not know what I did to piss off the poker Gods but it must have been bad. I have stepped back down to the $1/$2 limit games while this losing streak plays itself out. What was the most disappointing was the fact that I was in a hotel for 4 nights and My losing streak was so bad that I did not even want to play. I know you are not supposed to measure how well you are playing by how much you have won or lost, but isn't that the freaking point at the end? Who wants to be the best player in the world who always loses?
Since the downfall began on July 22nd I have lost $314.50. My bankroll is still in good shape, my winning streak has enough to cover this dip in my earnings chart, but its SOOOO frustrating. "That's Poker"? F Poker.
Daily Tally?
7/22 - ($126.25) all on $2/$4 Limit.7/23 - Did not Play
7/24 - $11.50 -Yay I'm a winner!
7/25 - ($147.50) - Oh, that's right, I am not a winner I actually suck.
7/26 - Did not play
7/27 - Did not play
7/28 - ($46.25) I lost $34 of it on $2/$4 Limit and the rest on $1/$2 Limit. Sad.
I have been on poker hiatus (again) since. I can see my self changing my game and playing towards the outcome rather than the Tight-Aggressive style that has worked for me so well. I can "feel" the bad-beats coming so I play passively to minimize my losses. I think i will wait a few more days before I head back to the tables and try again, and I will start with the $1/$2 tables as a means to minimize my losses instead of playing passively on the $2/$4 tables.
Sorry about the F-Bomb, Poker, can we be friends again?
