Patience Pays

I love being able to step away from the tables for a few days and then just step back in and win. Nothing boosts my confidence more. Things have been a bit hectic over the past few days with the birth of my fourth child and my 1-year-old running around craving attention from anyone holding the baby. As a result, I have not had a lot of time to play poker. It was good to log in last night on my bet365.com account log about an hour in a $2+$.50 tournament and take 2nd place. I got no cards but was able to show some restraint and just wait for opportunities.

I only had decent hands twice, but made the most of them by doubling up both times. I was taken out with Q7s against J6o when a J hit on the flop and the turn, but I was short stacked at that point anyway (which was why I was all in to start with).

Patience. It pays.

The Vegas Countdown has begun – 15 days…
